Denny’s expertise in the many facets of trade, commerce and manufacturing had him cutting his teeth first as an agent in the textile industry in Zimbabwe where some of the manufacturing plants he helped establish are still running successfully today. After leaving Zimbabwe, Denny handled the planning and program development for a terrestrial television station in Botswana, where he was introduced to the advertising community in South Africa, ultimately moving there to head the marketing office in Johannesburg.  Denny joined Anglo-American Platinum in 2008 as a Project Planner for Capital Projects (SIB). For the last 8 years, Denny has been contracted to Anglo-Platinum’s Social Performance projects, and has rich experience in facilitating water resource projects, sanitation solutions, agricultural projects at the grassroots level, rural road development, and lighting projects for villages around the mines. Denny's particular strength is in forging strong relationships between corporate entities and grassroots institutions and individuals to gain consensus and facilitate development projects.
